Concept Art - Gremlinsby *Lord-Zasz

Concept art for a race I'm working on. This is for a comic/manga project I'm working on with

Gremlins: Gremlins range in color from green to brown, though other colors are not unheard of. They are shorter than humans, standing on average between 3 and 4 feet tall.

A small and peaceful race, they often live in human cities. They are often employed as street merchants, scrap dealers, and inventors as they are quite talented craftsman. They have an aptitude for understanding machines and their work is equal to in ability, if not form, of the greatest Human or Demon machine. Unlike most creatures, they neither look down on Animen with contempt or pity. This is probably due in part to their own inhuman appearance.

While some Gremlins become so rich that they are (reluctantly) welcomed by the ruling classes, most are happy to live in the poorer areas of town. Personal appearance isn't that important to them. Besides, they prefer to spend their money on new machines, lavish delicacies, or shiny baubles than on property, clothes, and the other social trappings necessary to fit into proper society.
