It's my new character Kazi, in color now! ^^ I love how it turned out, think I've really got tablet sketching down now. Colors took forever to decide on!!!

Kazi is an animan (half human, half animal originally created through dark magic). He lives on the street, stealing what he needs to survive. But, he's actually quite an optimist and has a big heart. Often times he'll give his food away to hungry animals or children. He's recently become quite infatuated with Cynthia, a human from the High-Born section of the city. Because animen are considered second class citizens (at best) by most races, he has to be very careful when sneaking into the Magesteria to see Cynthia... and because her familiar hates him.

I really thought of shading this one, but I decided not to because I really wanted to keep these last few drawings as concept art/color references for the comic. And a flat color is much easier to use than shaded. ;) Maybe I'll do something spiffy for the cover?
