This is Quiet269's character dressed up as Gir from Invader Zim and his dark fairy. I had a lot of fun drawing this, and I love how it turned out.

What do you guys think? Note, this is from my new sketchbook, and while it's really hard to erase things (the paper is handmade and comes off as easily as the pencil does) I love the texture and color.

It looks like the costume body is a separate piece of clothing from the costume head, which gives the impression (at least to me) that GIR is actually trying to eat Quiet's character's hair... which I think is totally in character for GIR. XD The drawing's adorable either way.

The paper texture is hard for me to pick up on, so when I actually catch it I'm not sure if it's the texture itself or if those are just stray pencil lines; it kind of makes me wish for "cleaner" paper, but that's just a personal preference. Maybe if the paper were more of an off-white and I could see the texture better I'd think differently.

Yes, the head piece is a separate part, like a hat! I was inspired by those Stitch hats where it looks like he's eating your head (I have one) and I thought it'd fit nicely. :D

Really? Maybe it's your monitor, but the paper isn't off-white at all; it has a nice almost tan-color to it that I love. I'm kinda bored by clean white paper right now, I want things a little messy in my art. Hence, all the traditional work.

Hmmm...I think you could have made the Gir's head a bit bigger x3

One of his pupils are also slightly bigger than the other one Oo Maybe he is looking into a light?:shrug:

The glowing ball at the end of the tail should maybe not have such a dark shadow....its looks even a bit more dark than the one Quiet has under him. Oo
