THEME

It's finally springtime and Love is in the air! So, it's time for my little Koa to get himself a girlfriend. I've decided to accomplish this by setting him up on a bunch of Blind Dates! This is where you come in. If you have any available female characters, or would like to create a new one just for Koa, I would encourage you to join this contest! Your goal is to draw Koa and his mystery date having a good (or bad) time together. Up to your girl, really. Me and Koa will confer and decide who his favorite girl is. In addition to other prizes, I will draw a picture of the winning couple enjoying their dream date in Disneyland!!!

WHO IS KOA?



Hello, Meega Koa!

I'm a cute alien experiment created using the same technology that created Stitch. Ummm, my master wasn't a very nice guy, so I had kind of a lonely childhood. But, I managed to escape from him and crash landed in Hawaii. There, I met my friends Lilo and Stitch. They gave me the name Koa (which means heart, cause they said I had a big one!

I'm not very strong, but I am fairly indestructible. I took a lot of punishment from my master when he tried to discover out my hidden powers. He never figured them out, but somehow I've always known. I have the ability to open a person's heart to love with a kiss, and restore a lost heart lost to darkness with a hug. I like hugs, but I'll only kiss the girl I love! I guess I'm an average cute and fluffy alien.

Personally, I'm a little shy, but very affectionate. I love going to romantic places and taking long walks, but I'm willing to try anything! I don't really have any experience with dating, so I'm not sure what kind of girl I'm looking for. That's why Lord Zasz is helping me out, he's such a nice dragon! So, ummmm, if your a single girl and think I'm kinda cute and wanna go out with me, I'd, uh, really like to! Yeah, that's all!

Oh, and I LOVE smoothies!!! Yum.




RULES

Deadline is June 1 (I will extend the contest if needed, but I know those who enter early will want results!)

You may submit as many entries as you wish! Each entry, however, must feature a different character for Koa to date. You may draw more than one picture of Koa on a date with the same character, I'll judge you on my favorite one.

You must draw a picture of Koa and an original character that you've created on a date. They can do anything you want, go anywhere, or just be hanging out together.

She can be a fan character (ie, an original Lilo & Stitch Experiment) or an original creation. She can also be any race (animal, pokemon, experiment, human, whatever!)

I encourage you to write a brief description of your character's personality and what she and Koa did on their date.


PRIZES


Koa's True Love

Grand Prize - A special full-size sculpture will be created and mailed to the deviant who creates the best girlfriend for Koa! Artistic skill will certainly be taken into account, but also the fit of the character you create with Koa. Therefore, the "best" picture may not win the grand prize if she doesn't seem like a person Koa would fall in love with (though, it may very well win 1st place or Worst Date).


Cutest Couples

These prizes are awarded to the persons that come up with the girls for Koa, but fall just short of the Grand Prize. The character you create is a big factor, as is the artistic skill and fit with Koa.

1st - 1 full color picture with any number of characters and any background.

2nd - 1 colored character with simple background.

3rd - 1 free sketch.


Special Awards - Given at my discretion to other, worthy drawings.

Worst Date - 1 full color picture with any number of characters and any background will be awarded to the person that makes the worst possible match for Koa. (Note, this is NOT worst drawn, this is worst possible girlfriend in Koa's opinion)

Best Effort - 1 free sketch will be awarded for the person who comes up with the best girlfriend for Koa, but lacks the artistic excellence of other competitors. It will also be awarded for how much time and effort went into the pic based on each person's skill level.
